Universidad del Rosario in Bogota, Colombia, is organizer and host of the international conference: Global Learning: A New Paradigm for Higher Education Internationalization in the post Covid-19 era, which will take place over two days during the week of October 28 - 29, 2020. The purpose of the conference is to explore how the theme of Global Learning is emerging as a new guiding framework for institutional engagement at the international level, as a driving force for innovation in teaching, research and extension, and as a transformative mechanism for how universities achieve significant impact in their societies, considering the post Covid-19 pandemic scenario.
Global Learning provides a new paradigm for internationalization that establishes the standards for structuring all international programming around learning outcomes, learning environments, competencies and capacities throughout the university. The challenge is in how to incorporate global learning precepts across the portfolio of internationalization, including curricula, teaching, co-curricular activities, research, exchanges, networks and alliances, administrative services, university management and policies, and even university culture.
