Description

The Art of Entrepreneurship was born as a pedagogical project inspired by Vincent Van Gogh, Renoir, and Monet. These artists dared to propose a pictorial representation that was different from the hegemonic one, which implied developing a new concept and daring to understand the world from another perspective. Therefore, transgressing the standards already consolidated from their brushstrokes.

Both the formative development and the identification of competencies inspired by what characterizes artists and entrepreneurs in their creative process are sought through this course. Elements such as intuition, creativity, the ability to generate an impact, and identifying opportunities in diverse environments are critical in the artist's exercise. They have also been identified as central in the entrepreneurial activity, so this course seeks to integrate both dimensions and contribute a comprehensive individual training, through innovative artistic techniques.

These competences are also framed within the concept of entrepreneurship conceived at Universidad del Rosario, which goes beyond the traditional idea of turning an idea into a company. It also refers to human beings' ability to identify needs and transform problems into opportunities by developing innovative initiatives focused on the common good.

  • Enhance your creative ability by learning to recognize and foster sensitivity towards your surroundings.
  • Contribute to the development of your life project by recognizing the importance of combining feeling and critical thinking.
  • Learn to identify and solve problems, innovate, and create solutions by understanding the interface between the appreciation of arts and entrepreneurship.
  • Strengthen your intuition for decision-making through cultivating a critical and constructive vision of the environment.
  • Have an international experience with faculty and students from different countries.
  • Receive a certificate of participation while enjoying your learning process!

Proactive students from all disciplines who want to become agents of change and broaden their world vision through entrepreneurship and art.

The learning strategy is based on co-creation, promoting collaborative spaces focused on active participation and constructing appropriate concepts and knowledge through experience. UR Emprende has developed a pedagogical approach inspired by art to encourage the development of purposeful life projects and promotes entrepreneurial and innovative talent as part of the necessary training and seal of the Rosarista spirit, generating a unique experience from creative processes.
