Work Placements

All of our students have the option to undertake work placements with healthcare providers, in companies, sports or training centers, and governmental or non-governmental organizations.

We have our own network of hospitals, guaranteeing you the opportunity to work with patients in intensive care units, neonatal units, emergency departments, general hospitalization, and outpatient clinics from the early stages of your education.

Our agreements with sports centers enable our Physiotherapy students to put into practice their skills for analyzing athletic movements and conducting rehabilitation processes for patients who have sustained injuries from sporting activities.

Our agreements with companies enable our students to develop administration and management skills, as well as the ability to assess physical workload in occupational health teams.

OUR

Laboratories

We have six program-specific laboratories designed to meet the learning needs of our students. The Motion Analysis Laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for analyzing human movement in workers, patients, and athletes. The laboratory at the Center for the Study of Physical Activity Measurement focuses on learning to conduct health and performance tests on athletes. Additionally, there are the Kinesis Lab I, II, and III laboratories, where you will have access to technological devices, anatomical models, and simulators that will enhance your learning.

THINKING WITH THE BODY

Somatic Education Laboratory

The Thinking with the Body project is an initiative led by the Physiotherapy program in partnership with other university centers. It promotes ethical and emotional education through movement and somatic experiences. It is a pedagogical experiment that promotes the biological, relational, and historical aspects of human development, aiming to create well-being practices and spaces for care.

Somatic education is integrated into the education of Rosarista Physiotherapists, serving as a transformation methodology for individuals and communities.
