Undergraduate Programs

Elective Medical Internship

All students of the Medicine program from other partner institutions who are in the XII semester may participate in clinical or cultural scenarios as “observers” with the prior approval of the internship coordination and the program director, who will evaluate whether it is relevant for each student’s training. Please email incoming@urosario.edu.co to ask for the documents required for your application.

International Elective Medical Internship

All medical students in the IX semester at partner institutions can apply for mobility in clinical specialties, research, and family medicine. The length of the International Elective Internship (IEI) is a minimum of one month (4 weeks) and a maximum of two months (8 weeks).

Postgraduate Programs

Medical-surgical rotations

Students of the Medical-Surgical specialties or the Master’s degree programs of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences may take one or more international elective courses as observers in hospitals or health institutions under the regulations of each country upon approval by the Program Coordination and the Direction of the Postgraduate Programs of the academic unit and under their syllabus. Mobility may last from 2 to 24 weeks maximum and may be either a virtual or face-to-face exchange. This type of mobility will be formalized through a letter of commitment or agreement established between the university and the international institution when applicable.
