We are pleased to invite you to participate in an seminar on public transportation scenarios presented by our Erasmus+ exchange students from the master of Urban Studies at the University of Warsaw. The seminar will be divided into two parts: a short lecture on Warsaw public transport strategies and a foresignt workshop visioning public transport in Bogotá 2050.  The lecture and workshop will be presented in English, with help from facilitators in Spanish if needed.

Lecture | Mobility in the city: Warsaw's public transportation and life quality

During the lecture, we will talk about the operation of Warsaw's public transportation. We will discuss its history and current status, describe the state of infrastructure, innovations and investments undertaken. We will also identify future prospects and challenges.

Scenarios for sustainable public transport in Bogota 2050

This will be followed by a foresight workshop, during which we will work on creating a vision of the ideal public transportation in Bogotá in 2050 and explore possible steps to take today, in a few years and in a few decades to achieve it.
