1. Non-English-speaking students aiming to take courses offered in English must demonstrate English proficiency at an intermediate B1 level.

3. Migratory process:
   1. Exchange program of one (1) semester (180 days):
      For less-than-six-month stays (180 days), you do not need a student visa to enter the country.* Upon entering the country, a Colombian immigration agent will place an Entrance and Permanence Permit (PIP) stamp on your passport.
      1. What is the PIP-Entrance and Permanence Permit stamp?
         1. It is the authorization Migración Colombia grants to a foreigner who does not require a visa to enter Colombian territory. Initially, this stamp has a 90-day validity; then, it can be renewed for another 90 days, up to a maximum of 180 days per calendar year.
            *Check if your nationality allows you to enter the country without a visa.
   2. Exchange program of two (2) semesters (more than 180 days):
      Students must apply for a type V visa (academic exchange, studies in arts or crafts, and graduate studies) or a type M visa (elementary, middle, or high school and undergraduate students).

Students at Universidad del Rosario are free to choose their housing for their stay, but they should consider the following alternative agreement:
