21st century faces significant challenges regarding persons with disabilities. Accumulated historical debts make this issue a priority of public health, development but above all of human rights. Despite major advances in the field of rights treaties such as the Convention on the rights of persons with disabilities of 2006 United Nations, addressing the imaginaries and practices in relation to sexual and reproductive rights of this population, arises the interrogation if we have gone beyond the old paradigms.
