Este programa está dirigido a profesionales del derecho que, o están familiarizados en el manejo de los diversos procesos, como ocurre con los funcionarios judiciales y los litigantes, o, en su calidad de asesores jurídicos, docentes o investigadores pretenden adquirir conocimientos y destrezas en este campo del quehacer jurídico. El único requisito es que se trate de abogados, dado que por su carácter transversal y con independencia de la rama del derecho por la que hayan optado los aspirantes, la especialización cubre todas las instituciones, fenómenos y figuras jurídicas del derecho procesal.
